Skiied up there between 2 and 4:00 this PM:
Lower trail (below point "J") was two thirds ice cream and one third
very hard powder.
Upper trail (above "J") was better that: half+ hard powder, maybe 40
percent ice cream---if you're going up early AM or late PM, "ice
cream" will of course be ice.
Ice cream and powder sections were fairly dirty---but snow cover is
so minimal that it would probably be unwise to try to groom the bark
and twigs back into the snow surface.
Hiked in to "point B" to start skiing.
Still, better than rollerskiing! (if we dont get snow in a week or
two, we'll have to get them out again).
