Well, it's been a busy month as predicted: work is well underway on
the new equipment shed located at the trailhead, Clay has pretty much
rebuilt the Cushman Trackster and repairs to the 2nd Alpine are
almost finished thanks to John, and miscellaneus repairs have been
completed on the grooming equipment. Additionally, the trail work
has gone quite well and the trail looks better than it has in years.
Dave W revived two old sections of the trail system late this month
so the network has a few more variants to ski your laps on.

We/ve had a BOD meeting and our 1st members meeting as well, new
officers have been elected for the 2006 season.

We're looking at helping a local business to acquire some used setups
of rental skiis/boots/poles to get rentals going locally, for now one
has to go all the way to Santa Fe to rent equipment.

And our webmaster is at work installing a message board on our
website www.swnordicski.org . Once that is in place we'll no longer
use this site for grooming updates, tho we'll probably keep it to
troll for out of State members and trail users.
