Carl, John B and myself worked on Kermit this AM [mostly John!] and
got him unstuck, up and running. Then we groomed the upper trail and
meadow trail mid-day for both skating and classic. Later on this PM
Clay Groomed the lower trail for both. The road from "A" to "O" and
on up thru "N" and "M" is also groomed for skating and classic.
It's not great, but it is re-groomed with the ice removed, and the
classic tracks are good.
We need more snow for the trail to be as good as we'd like---good
news is Clay has heard that this warm dry weather is coming to an end
sometime next week!
And altho our current grooming is just okay, it is wide and quite
flat and is a superb base for the promised snow: if we get 4-6" next
week it will be world class.
New Club address is P O Box 1556, Los Alamos, 87544-1556. John B
will be getting membership blanks out to us in the next few
days ...please fill one out and send it in with your membership fee
as soon as you can---the club needs funds to pay off some bills for
small parts on Kermit and the new groomer.

Keep in mind our big race coming up January 2nd. If you don't want
to race, I sure could use your assistance to help put on the event---
we need checkers, timers, spotters and registrars: no experience
necessary, I can teach you what you need in a few minutes!
