Afternoon,

MIxed Winter League 1 is just round the corner and so we're finally getting
through the seeding and schedule issues. Forgive the late information but
we've had teams drop out, teams ask to join, teams sending us late seeding
info and so on.

The main things to be aware of are:

There are NO changing rooms before 13.00. This means you don't have
facilities to get changed before games start but you do for when games are
all finished. I would bring some warm and waterproof clothes and also some
bin bags to keep your non playing stuff dry!

Assume you have a 9am start. Most teams will but some will be later. Best to
assume the worst! We aim to have the final game end at 4pm.

If it rains heavily then be prepared for changes to the schedule or indeed a
cancellation but the forecast right now is ok. We have 7 pitches so it is
likely we can run a reduced schedule if needs be. Fingers crossed it will
stay dry.

The top division is full mixed. The other two divisions are 2/3 women on
the line. We would urge captains to be understanding with teams who ask you
to only play 2 women on the line in the bottom division, only for the first
winter league.

We will be trying to implement a two up, two down promotion/relegation
between divisions after each winter league event. HOWEVER, this is not a
hard and fast rule as not every team plays every winter league and
ultimately it will have to be at the discretion of the LWLC. We will do our
best to ensure teams have the chance to move as is needed.

Make sure you have two contacts per team signed up to the yahoo group.

All info will go through this asap to save spamming all of London. Sorry by
the way! Check you are signed up as we had a clear out and a few of you may
have been culled by mistake!

Please look at the seedings below. We have done our best to seed everyone
appropriately but if you haven't given us any info then we may have got you
wrong. Speak now as the schedule will be done this evening. We will release
this tomorrow hopefully. This IS NOT the final seeding, it is just a guide.
