Better late than never!

LWL is back in business for the 2007-08 season. We've managed to secure the
venue used for UKUA Nationals this year – the Richardson Evans Memorial Playing
Fields (Wimbledon Common, just off the A3). Not only will we finally have marked
pitches, but we'll also have access to toilets and changing rooms – somewhere to
get out of the rain when needed!

The flipside is the increased costs in hiring such a high quality venue. Entry
fee for the 2007-08 LWL is £60 per team per event (although there may be a
discount to teams that pay for all 4 events up front). Further information on
payment to follow later this week – at the moment we just need teams to let us
know asap if they want to enter the first event on SUNDAY 18 NOVEMBER.

All interested teams should email garethsjones@hotmail to confirm attendance to
LWL1 with team name, team contact details, and whether your team wishes to play
in the Open or the Mixed division (LWL is planning on running full tour mixed
rules, ie a 3/4 split – if you're entering the mixed division bear this in
mind!).

Whilst we won't be requiring teams to enter all 4 events this year, teams that
do so will be given priority if we end up over-subscribed.

Car parking will be available at the playing fields, which are easily accessible
via public transport. More information will be posted on the LWL website nearer
