Captain's meetings
For BOTH divisions will be at 9am, with games starting at 9:30am.
Format and Games
All teams in all divisions will play 4 games of equal length. Seedings were
based on a) finishing positions from last year's league, and b) the order in
which new teams entered. In the Open Division all 12 teams can win. Due to
numbers/pitches in the mixed this wasnıt possible the top 9 teams can win,
teams seeded 10-15 have the opportunity to progress into the top9, ensuring
that at the next event they will have the chance to play against the top
teams.
Mixed Division Reminder
The gender split for London Winter League is 2 or 3 women, offence decides.
Defence has to at least MATCH this ration, but can field more women if they
choose to do so, therefore teams will need a MINIMUM of 3 women at the
weekend to compete in the mixed division. Teams can play the full UKUA Mixed
Rules if BOTH team captains are in agreement before the game. Full mixed
rules can be found at:
http://www.londonultimate.com/winterleague/2007/rules.html#mixed
ENTRY FEE
£15 per team, payable in CASH at the Captainıs Meeting. NO PAY = NO PLAY!!!

(sensible) questions

* Advanced warning for December the seedings will be affected by the
return of several teams playing in the world championships in Australia this
month, as they have expressed interest in playing in LWL from December
onwards. These teams will be inserted into the rankings for the December
event based on their finishing positions from LAST YEARıS LEAGUE, as long as
they fulfill the usual entry criteria.
