RE: [llumpires] Complaint from a Little League Parent

You got that right. Of course they find something to gripe about with or
without an umpire.

Dave,

You should know by now that the only thing that important to the majority of
the non-volunteers is the game their little all-star is playing in at the
moment. If this had been a softball mom/dad and they didn't have an umpire
but the boy's baseball did, they would be griping just as loud.

Gary

Everyone is in the same boat as far as umpiring. As for the parent maybe
they should get off their #&$ and volunteer. Of course this is another good
example of the widespread belief that girls LL softball is not important.

From our site:

"If you just can't stand the quality of the umpiring, send me a message
announcing your intent and availability to umpire."

(I "lifted" this idea from another Little League in the US. Their umpire
complaint form has a check off section at the top - until you can list five
games you have umpired yourself, your complaint is not considered.)

Complaint From "A Concerned Parent"

I attended a major league game on field 5 last night. I was shocked that
