Beat the Clock -- Last Event for 2008 on September 20th!
We're gonna make hay while the sun shines, as always, on Canada road.
Rain or shine, hell or high water. Either way, it ain't gonna be dull as
ditchwater, that's dollars for doughnuts. A time trial a day keeps
arthritis at bay! Idle legs are the devil's tools. Don't be a day late
and a dollar short! Don't make a monkey of yourself and sign up now:

But if you're on your last leg, give us a leg up, put your best foot
forward and volunteer.
While this is the season finale for 2008, this is not the event that is
going to break the camel's back. Stay cool as a cucumber, no need to cry
over spilt milk, Beat the Clock won't stop until pigs fly. The latest
locker talk is that Patt Baenen-Tapscott, BtC mastermind and organizer
extraordinaire has stuff planned for 2009 that'll be the cat's pajamas.
Beat the Clock owes a big thank you to everybody who pulled the fat from
the fire and threw us a line throughout the year. There are so many
names, it'd take donkey's years to list them all. We couldn't have
paddled our own canoe without all the volunteers and riders who made
this year another fundraising record for the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
We totally feel like the cat that got the cream :-)
Now, don't fiddle while Rome burns, shake a leg, and come to the season
finale on September 20th.
Thank you,
The Beat the Clock team
