Mark B, Mark M,and Maui where joined for a while by a couple of B's.
The roads were fine by 10am. Since the temp was below 47 degrees we
did a C+ paced ride of 42 miles. Service Road to Bethpage, Round
Swamp, Sweet Hollow, Stillwell half way, thru the winding up downs
then across to Oyster Bay, then over to Chicken Valley back to the
lot. An excellent March kind of ride.

Tomorrow might be the start of Daylight Savings Time but it's not
going to feel like spring. The weather forecast is for a cold and very
windy day with real-feel temperatures consistently below freezing.
It's not about the bike - it's about safety and comfort. Let's hope
for a better weekend next week.

This is a ride that if you haven't done you should come out and do, it
takes on roads we almost never ride on. I'll look forward to the
signature Roy ride.

Subject: RE: [libcb-] So how where the ride on 3/2 - 3/3
We rode Sunday. Me, Scott and Bill. Everybody else probably stayed inside. Did about 32 miles at a relatively slow pace (very windy and cold early on) with a few hills. Good first ride for those who did not ride in Jan and Feb.

So how where the rides this weekend. Anyone well enough to show up on Sat or Sun?

Actually Mark will not be riding today anyway because:
1- the ground is wet
2 - still suffering the coughing from the flu.
So it will be roll your own for anyone who shows up.
