Description
This is a subscription-based mailing list for the Long Island Bicycle Club B group in Nassau County, Long Island, NY. We use it to plan our rides and coordinate group activities. Only members can post messages, but we let anybody read them, in case they want to join in our rides.
Most of our rides start from Westbury High School at 9:30AM, Saturdays and Sundays from March till November. During the season we become a little stronger, but in general our rides are between 40 and 60 miles long, cruising on the flats at about 17-20 MPH and averaging from 15 to 17 MPH. On most rides we stop for lunch.

As members, it is our responsibility to use this list for its intended use only. Please limit your messages to LIBC B group issues only. This is not a chat group. If you want to discuss an issue with another member, please send your message to that member’s email. No advertisements and no jokes, please.

Izzy - Speedplay "Frog" pedals have complete float which means that you do not have
to "lock" your foot in to any particular direction (inward or outward).

Izzy, Time and Shimano pedals have a degree of "float." The cleat on each shoe (which attaches to the pedal) can be positioned to point the toes either
