=> As a restricted membership group, selecting the "Join this group" button will not be sufficient to enroll. Please forward your name, address, and phone (for our internal contact list); note if you were invited to join (and by whom), and very briefly explain your interest in joining. Send this request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our e-group is used to assist in scheduling training rides or an occasional trip to organized road rides. You are welcome to join in for a ride--just show up at the appointed time/location and introduce yourself-- but consider our ride descriptions above: we are a fairly aggressive bunch! Note that we do expect all riders to wear a helmet, dress prepared for the weather, have a well-maintained bike, and carry rudimentary tools (spare tube, patch kit, pump, money, etc.). New riders: please ride at the back of the group until you get comfortable with group dynamics. Remember, you are responsible for your safety!
Following are the current default ride times and locations. (These are subject to change!)
* Monday to Friday, 5:30 or 6am from Madison and East Aves (OP) for the weekday road loop (20 miles) or added Spring Road extension (+8 miles).
* Saturday and Sunday, depart 6:30am from Lake St and Harlem Ave (OP/RF). Road rides range from 35-100 miles (start time as of 2013/04/13).
