If you're currently on a muscle building workout program but are not seeing the
results you had expected from the program, it's time to take a close look at
some of the things that you might be doing wrong.
A number of guys make a few critical errors on their muscle building workout
program that ends up costing them greatly in results.
By making sure you're taking the time to prevent there errors you dramatically
boost your chances of success with the program.
Here are the main ones you must know about.
Too Much Total Volume
The first error that is made with muscle building workout programs is too much
total volume. Basically, if you aren't growing, you should start cutting the
total number of sets you're performing for each exercise in half.
Do that for a few weeks and see how it goes. There's a very good chance that
you'll find you automatically start growing after doing this.
Not Enough Food
The second huge reason you may not be getting results is a lack of food. Think
of this analogy. If I were to ask you to build a house but only gave you ten
bricks to do it with, would you have success?
Doubtful.
So what makes you think that you'll be able to build new muscle tissue without
feeding it enough nutrients - the body's building blocks? You won't. If you
aren't growing, this is a very clear sign you're not getting in enough total
calories.
Start eating more and results will come.
Lack of Focus On The Correct Exercises
Finally, the last reason why you may find you're struggling with your muscle
building program is a lack of performing the right types of exercises. If you
want ideal results, you should be focusing on exercises that will work the
greatest number of muscle fibers in the body.
This does not include bicep curls, tricep extensions, lateral raises, leg
extensions, and so on.
Instead, focus on what counts - bench press, squats, deadlifts, and rows. There
are far more effective muscle building exercise that will generate you the
results you're looking for.
So keep these points in mind. Far too many people waste years training in the
incorrect manner when you could very easily see better results by changing up a
few small things.
