التفكير قليلا والتحدث مع بعض الأصدقاء الذين قال لي معظمهم أن هذا كله (

ولكن خمن ماذا حدث ( ولك أن تصدق أو لا تصدق ) : في خلال 7 أيام بدأت
أتلقى خطابات بها الدولارات ، لقد صعقت أولا وقلت إنها ستنتهي فورا ،
ولكنها بالعكس بدأت تزداد ، في الأسبوع الأول تلقيت 25 دولار ، في نهاية
الأسبوع الثاني جمعت تقريباً 1000 دولار في الأسبوع الثالث جمعت ( والحمد لله
أولا) ما يقرب من 10000 دولار وما زالت تزداد. إنها والله تستحق أن تدفع

Earth would become a better place to live on if and only a new world

Hi everyone.

I work for the Asian Games News Service, and we are compiling a
database of biographies for all athletes competing in both the West
Asian Games (WAG) in Dec. 2005 and the Asian Games (AG) in Dec. 2006
in Doha. I would like to know if Lebanon will be sending a team to
the West Asain games, and if so who the members of that team will
be. Same question for the Asian Games, and in addition any
biographical information you may have about these athletes would be
greatly appreciated.

This information will be made available to all accredited media at
the games, so they will be better able to report on the Lebanese
team (and all other teams). If anyone has information on athletes in
any other AG sport, I would greatly appreciate that as well. I'm
looking for basic information (birthdate, weight, height, education,
etc.) as well as more anecdotal information (why they chose this
sport, their most memorable sporting achievement, any superstitions
or rituals they perform before competition, etc.) If anyone knows
any of the athletes personally or has contact details for them, I
have a questionnaire form for them to complete.

I don't know about you guys, but IMO the best current line up would
go as follows:


F.Khatib 1.97 m
P.Khoury 2.07 m
J.Vogel 2.11 m
R.Fahed 1.83 m
G.Reda 1.90 m

B.Beshara 2.04 m
E.Kassouf 2.01 m
R.Samaha 2.02 m
A.Mahmoud 1.80 m
M.Ibrahim 1.92 m

S.Khoury 1.96 m
J.Abdel Nour 1.98 m

This will give the national team an average height of 2.05 m at the
PF/C positions, 1.96 m at the wings and 1.86 m at the point, all
fairly good averages.


Although young and talented, I believe we should seriously
reconsider 4 players from the team which played in Qatar:

Hussein Tawbeh 1.95 m
Ali Fakhreddine 2.02 m
Omar Turk 1.84 m
Bassem Balaa 1.98 m


Replacing them respectively with:

Elie Kassouf 2.01 m
Roy Samaha 2.02 m
Mohammad Ibrahim 1.92 m
Ghaleb Reda 1.90 m


I don't want to spend too much time on why the latter 4 are much
better for the NT, but the obvious reason would be the size and
quality of Kassouf/Samaha vs Tawbeh/Fakhreddine. Kassouf is bigger
than Tawbeh who is somwhat undersized for the PF position plus he is
more experienced and has been starting in Anibal for some years now.
Roy Samaha is bulkier than Ali Fakhreddine and he also plays more in
the local championship whereas Ali's role is still limited with
Riyadi.

No need to present a case for 2 stars like Mo Ibrahim and Ghaleb
Reda, coach Caughter has obviously an issue with Ghaleb since their
last feud however this should not come in the way of such a rising
superstar. Mohammad Ibrahim also fully deserves to play for the
national team as he is a great player coming off the bench.

We hope that someone of the NT's management will reconsider these
choices.

all and hopefully you can contribute more to the group. The Lebanese
basketball season is now on and semms to be going according to
schedule and plan.

Of course the absence of Fadi Khatib has made watching the league less
entertaining. But still, in his last game as a member of Al Ittihad
Aleppo, he scored 51 points against Aleppo rivals Jalaa' in a game his
team won 97-63.

He also scored 29 aganist league champions last year Al Jeish 70-65
and scored 41 points against against Al Hurriyah 112-59.

The Ittihad team coached by lebanese Ghassan Sarkis is still 10-0 in
