I have noticed a few new members registering for this group. I welcome
all and hopefully you can contribute more to the group. The Lebanese
basketball season is now on and semms to be going according to
schedule and plan.

Of course the absence of Fadi Khatib has made watching the league less
entertaining. But still, in his last game as a member of Al Ittihad
Aleppo, he scored 51 points against Aleppo rivals Jalaa' in a game his
team won 97-63.

He also scored 29 aganist league champions last year Al Jeish 70-65
and scored 41 points against against Al Hurriyah 112-59.

The Ittihad team coached by lebanese Ghassan Sarkis is still 10-0 in
ten games. Probably Fadi el Khatib will be crowned MVP of the Syrian
league.
