Just to give you an indication how good the lebanese basketballers
are, just consider this. In the West Asia Juniors Chmapionship, our
juniors team last week, coached by American head coach Paul Coughter
won all five games against Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Yemen and Syria and
got the West Asia Trophy and despite not taking part in previous
year event, have qualified to the Asia Junior Basketball
Championship in India.

Star performances by all our juniors but most notably Mazen
Mneimneh, a true MVP performance with 28.2 ppg and also Hasan al
Laqees, Zadi Hobeika, Imad Saadeh and Joseph Awad.

Truely a national team to be proud of.
