The Lebanese Cup matches have started for 2 days now. It gives
everybody a chance to see the talents lingering in lower divisions,
so to speak. Everyone is mad about Division 2 Cafe Najjar of course
with its high profile players.

However, thus far, the biggest and most pleasant surprise has been a
4th division basketball team from the Tripoli North called United
Club. Not only has it been bale to score a huge win over the 3rd
division Najmet el Sahraa 78-47, but one of its "victims" included
also 2nd division Homenetmen with its hugely experienced players.

Fourth Division United Club Triploi in a thrilling match could also
beat Homenetmen (Division 2) by 75-74 which proves anything is
possible really in Lebanese basketball.
