I fully endorse the suggestion about
http://www.libansport.com
which is a very well prepared site and bilingual (English and
Arabic). This is about all Lebanese teams first division and mostly
recent coverage of the Final Six. You will find all results from
beginning season till now too, pictures, news, interviews, analysis
etc.
But if you are asking for other choices, I would suggest the
following:
http://www.thisiscyberia.com then check basketball news from front
page. Basketball materials are presently collected at:
http://www.thisiscyberia.com/sports/default.asp?Sports=2
but this may change later, so it would be wise to reach there
through the front page.
Also check: http://terra.net.lb/Terrasports where you will always
find at least one fresh story about Lebanese basketball, among other
sports, plus possibly find a lot in the Terra archives also on
basketball.
An absolutely must site on Lebanese basketball is the official
Lebanese Basketball Federation (FLB) site at:
http://www.flbb.com/
For Sagesse, I couldn't find comprehensive active sites other than
the two you suggested, i.e.
http://www.sagesseclub.com and
http://www.hekmeh.com also a mirror at: http://www.hikmeh.com
However in the same style as ours, there is a Yahoo!Hekmeh club with
over 30 members at:
http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/hikmeh
You may join there in the discussion with other Sagesse fans and
post and exchange messages. I am sure they will help you with some
more Sagesse sites.
I know there are a lot of wallpapers too which you could add to your
screen, but these tend to move from place to place. Make some
search and you will find some to download.
Incidentally, there are perhaps tens of personal websites too
dedicated to the team, but these pages tend to be done in a hurry
and then get abandoned without any updates, which is a shame. So if
you open it months later, it is not much of help except for
nostalgia or for some irelevant match report from way back when.
Somebody dedicated to a team should go into the trouble of updating
things periodically and bringing fresh materials rather than lose
interest and fall out. That's the least one can do for his or her
favorite club. Or else tear down the whole site and remove the
materials I say. That would be more appropriate than to keep just
old stuff. Or just keep the relevant parts like notable titles the
club got throughout the years, historical presentations of how the
club eveloped through the years, importat players, the photo albums
(good for archiving later).
Do check the Hekmeh Club page though. It does need some activity
which has been sparse recently (just 10 messages in February and
none as yet in March despite Sagesse getting the ticket to
Malaysia...). I am sure they can do better than that with all the
action happening including the upcoming Arab Clubs Championships in
which Hekmeh is participating starting 17 March, the other Lebanese
particpant being Champville.
