The agent of Lazio wing-back Cesar says the Brazilian is ready to commit to a
new contract.
Cesar's current deal expires in 2006 and Lazio president Claudio Lotito has
been putting off talks over a new deal until nearer the end of this season.
The left-sided midfielder remains a prime target for Inter Milan, but his agent,
Gilmar, says Cesar is committed to Lazio.
"We expect to hold talks in April," he said. "Cesar is ready to stay with Lazio.
"We want to speak with the club leaders about extending his contract, which runs
to 2006. He is committed to this club and bar something extraordinary happening
will stay here, despite the pressure from Inter Milan
