Veterans Committee Ballot Finalized as Screening
Committee Completes Selections
25 former players featured on 2005 Veterans Committee
Ballot

(COOPERSTOWN, NY): Twenty-five former major league
players comprise the 2005 Hall of Fame Veterans
Committee ballot, on which Veterans Committee members
will cast their votes in January. Results of the
election will be announced on March 2, 2005. Any
candidate(s) named on 75% of ballots cast will earn
election and be honored in Cooperstown during Hall of
Fame Weekend next summer, along with any candidate(s)
named in the 2005 Baseball Writers’ Association of
America (BBWAA) balloting.
