DEADLINE FOR SABR-Yoseloff Grant FAST APPROACHING - Friday, May 15th!


SABR is now accepting applications for the 2009 SABR-Yoseloff Baseball Research
Grants. These grants of are designed to assist SABR members in completing
baseball research projects by offering reimbursement for research-related
expenses.

For members who are developing their research projects during the winter
off-season, good ideas are often hampered by nagging costs. With generous
funding from The Anthony A. Yoseloff Foundation, SABR is able to award research
grants to its members with the intention of later publishing that research.

A minimum of $4,000 is allocated for awards annually, but distribution is
dependent upon the quality of the proposal pool. The maximum grant award is
$1,000, and individuals are limited to one grant per year.
