Baseball America Almanac lists "Affiliate Since" for all clubs in
organized baseball, but since they don't carry info on DSL and VSL, I
don't have a solid understand for the history of various clubs
involvement in this league. Anyone know of a good online source for
past seasons, hopefully en ingles??

Also, watching GWB on the front lawn of the White House this
afternoon, I think the immediate future of the VSL is very much up in
the air. There were 9 teams representing 11 organizations in 2007 (2
combo teams Cubs/Twins; Rays/Reds) and per MLB.com, only seven showing
for 2008. I'm hoping to get some clarification on this from the
Latino Baseball Committee.

They play a 72-game season, May thru August. Has anyone read anything
about how the political climate might impact MLB's plans the country?
