Roberto Clemente managed San Juan in two seasons; 1964-65, replacing
Cal Ermer, and 1970-71, when he was player-manager the whole
season. His record in 1970-71 was 37-30, good for second place in
the final standing. San Juan lost to Santurce on the Semifinal
serie 4-2.
Some of the players of that 1970-71 edition were Jose Morales, Mike
Jorgensen, Deva Cash, Jose Laboy, Freddie Patek, Jose Ortiz, Al
Oliver, Ken Singleton, Manny Sanguillen, Leroy Stanton, Ivan de
Jesus, Ken Brett, Jose Santiago, Jim Colborn, Bill Denehy, Jim
Lomborg and Mike Cuellar, among others.
About the 1964-65 season, I don't have the date he took charge so I
can't give you his record.

Jorge Colon Delgado
