I'd be curious to hear what folks have to say about the ceremony for Roberto
Clemente that took place during tonight's All-Star Game. I thought the
highlight was the short speech given by Vera Clemente, which seemed quite
heartfelt.

The lowlight may have been Joe Buck's hollering "are you all having a good
time?" at the very end of the ceremony. That didn't seem quite appropriate
for an otherwise dignified ceremony. I'm not sure why the PA announcer at
PNC Park wasn't allowed to host the ceremony. That would have been a better
choice.
