My idol all my life has been Roberto Clemente. We can not compare Jackie Robinson to anyone, he is one of kind. Retiring Clementes number will bring an issue to MLB, how may others deserve the same as Clemente. There has been many who went through difficult times during that period.
The best recognition Clemente has received is that today 2006, we are still talking about him, his memorabilias value is one of the highest. Also how many players use the number 21, because it was his number.
