Hey Skaters,
I’m helping my cousin with this fundraiser on behalf of her father. Besides
being for a good cause, it should be pretty fun with plenty of great food and
entertainment. And who knows, you might score some swag as well.
Here’s the 411.
You are cordially invited to…
A cocktail reception and Live / Silent auction to benefit the ALS Hope
Foundation.
Wednesday, April 20. 6 – 9 pm
At The Lanesborough.
Penthouse floor.
1601 Locust Street, Philadelphia.
The cost is $60 per person, with all the proceeds going to the ALS Hope
Foundation.
There will be some exceptional items up for auction, including items from Steven
Starr restaurants, furniture from Anthropologie, as well as skating lessons from
yours truly! (Not that any of you need lessons.)
If you’re not familiar with ALS, it is a debilitating degenerative disease of
the nervous system that leaves sufferers prisoners in their own bodies. It is
also commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
