Ex Dodger Manager Jim Tracy has his Pittsburgh Pirates at 3-0 to start the
season. I wonder
when the last time that happened. Anyone? They played the Houston Astros too,
in Houston. Not
too shabby I have to say.
Ex Dodger Cody Ross, playing right field for the Florida Marlins, hit his
first homerun of the
season, a two run shot in a 7-6 loss to the Nationals.
Ex Dodger Steve Finley, who made the Colorado Rockies roster after signing a
minor league deal
this spring, starting in center field yesterday against his old team, the
Diamondbacks and went 1
for 6 with an RBI.
Ex Dodger Jayson Werth, in his first game with the Phillies, came in as a
pinch hitter and got a
single. So right now he is hitting 1.000 for them.
Ex Dodger Cesar Izturis got an RBI single for the Cubs in a 4-1 win over the
Cincinnati Reds.
Ex Dodger JD Drew is continuing his hot hitting so far this season going 2 for
5 in a win over
the Kansas City Royals yesterday, getting his first double of the season and
RBI.
Ex Dodger Odalis Perez was the losing pitcher against the Red Sox yesterday,
lasting 5 1/3
innings, allowing 4 runs, 5 hits, 3 walks and 3 strikeouts.
Ex Dodger Milton Bradley is also continuing his hot hitting so far this
season, getting two
hits, including his second double of the season and two RBI's in a win against
the Seattle
Mariners.
Ex Dodger Paul LoDuca got three hits yesterday in a 10-0 win over the
Cardinals. All three hits
were singles and he scored a run and got a walk.
Ex Dodger Shawn Green got two hits yesterday as well, including a walk and his
first RBI of the
season.
Ex Dodger Aaron Sele came into the same game for the Mets in the 9th and
pitched a scoreless
inning, allowing only one hit.
Ex Dodger Dave Roberts got his first triple of the season in a loss to the San
Diego Padres.
