Wang going on the DL will be like two weeks out of the whole season. I could
see if maybe he
was out for the whole season but he's not. I am more than confident in Andy
Pettitte and having
him back will help. Also, Mariano Rivera is still the Yankees closer so I can't
see how Papelbon
being Boston's closer makes them a sure number 1. If I remember right, Papelbon
was their closer
last season and they didn't even make the playoffs and finished third right?
There is a lot of
season and to judge on two weeks that Wang will miss is a tiny portion. As a
Red Sox fan, I
really didn't think you would pick the Yankees to finish above them or any other
team for that
matter. I think it will be either the Angels or A's in the West, the White Sox
in the Central and
the Yankees or Boston in the East. In the National League, I hope it's the
Dodgers in the West,
the Cardinals in the Central and the Mets in the East.
