They looked good. Lots of hustle. We had a few fights on the ice that
helped to inspire the fans. I think we are in good shape.

Yeah I heard this is happening at several arenas.  I have mixed
feelings about the whole netting idea.  What does everyone else
think?

I wish it was UHL players, that would be awesome but it is NHL.
Still it is fun to play against other UHL fans and that is what we
did last year.  We had qutie a few Fury and Mallard fans and I think
a Gens fan too.  Made for some interesting competition.  Feel free
to join it.  It is an easy league to figure out and Yahoo can do all
the work for you or you can run your team pretty much by yourself.
This means anyone can play at any level.

Quebec, and has skated the past 4 seasons in the QMJHL
including stints with Hull, Montreal, Acadie Bathurst
and Chicoutimi. Last season Lanthier split the year
with Acadie Bathurst (27gp, 2g, 1a, 149pim) and
Chicoutimi (20gp, 1a, 66pim) scoring 2 goals, 2
assists and accumulating 215 penalty minutes in 47
total games.<P>

The addition of Stevens and Lanthier brings the Komet
roster to a total of 17 players including 7
defensemen, 2 goalies and 8 forwards.<P>

2 Komets/Wings tune-ups slated.....as previously
announced, the Komets will tangle with the Kalamazoo
Wings in 2 exhibition games. Friday, Oct. 4 the Komets
will skate a tune-up at Kalamazoo Wings Stadium at
6:30pm Fort Wayne time. The 2 teams will return to
Fort Wayne for an exhibition tilt Saturday, Oct. 5, at
McMillen Ice Arena at 7pm.<P>

Home game times same as last season.....the Komets
will continue to follow the home game time format as
last season, with opening faceoffs in Fort Wayne at
5:05pm on Sundays, and 7:35pm Mondays thru Saturdays
and on holidays.<P>

2002-03 Season Tickets are still on sale at the Komet
office at 1010 Memorial Way, Suite 100, in Fort Wayne,

Kalamazoo, MI - The Kalamazoo Wings of the United Hockey League announce their
game against the Elmira Jackals originally scheduled for Friday, January 3rd @
7:30 PM has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 8th@ 7 PM. The game was
rescheduled to accommodate another event at Wings Stadium.
  The switching of game dates could work to the K-Wings advantage. Moving the
game from January 3rd to the 8th breaks up a three game in three night stretch
for the K-Wings. With moving the game to January 8th, Kalamazoo will also enjoy
a three game home stand starting on January 8th against Elmira and concluding
Saturday, January 11th against the Rockford IceHogs.
  With fewer than 60 days from the 2002-2003 season of K-Wings hockey,
anticipation for the new season keeps growing, however, the opportunity for
K-Wings fans to purchase season tickets at a discounted price become shorter.
Season Tickets for the upcoming 2002-2003 season of K-Wings hockey are currently
on sale by calling the Kalamazoo Wings at 349-9772. Fans are also encouraged to
