tournament. I am an OH but I can also set.  I want to play though so I'll play

Hey, everyone!

Just wanted to remind you about the final Friendship tournament this coming
Saturday at the Greensboro Sportsplex.

The women's/men's 6s and coed 6s tournaments this past weekend were hugely
successful, and we received some great feedback.  All men's and women's teams
are invited back this Saturday for the final 6s tournament before the official
USAV season begins.

The entry fee is ONLY $75 PER TEAM.  We will have enough teams to have at least
one division, and if a few more teams jump in we may be able to have a couple of
divisions for men and women.

I have a few more teams to add to the website and will be able to update the
website tomorrow.  I will be accepting team registration until Wednesday
afternoon at 4:00 PM.

To register, simply email your team's name along with your name and contact info
(email address) to tina@....

You can pay as a team on the day of the tournament.

To all Raleigh area volleyball players,

Triangle Volleyball club will be hosting two free adult tournaments on 12/12 and
12/18.

The 12/12 tourney will be played under regular co-ed 6's rules and the 12/19
tourney will be played under reverse co-ed 4's rules.

Both tournaments are open to all adult players, however there is a 16 team
maximum for each one and teams will be accepted on a first come, first served
basis.

Any women interested in subbing on our USAV team for the 12/5 tournament?  Our
players have had lots of conflicts and the rest of us are ready to play.  Today

Just a friendly reminder about the ADULT VOLLEYBALL FRIENDSHIP TOURNAMENTS
that the Greensboro Sportsplex will be hosting for the next 2 weekends.  I
sent some information out a couple of weeks ago, but I am not sure that it
went out to everyone.

We already have 13 women's teams and 6 men's teams for Saturday, Nov 21st.
I would like to get a couple more men's teams.  We also already have 10
coed teams for Sunday, Nov 22nd.  We also need more men's and women's teams
for Saturday, Nov 28th.  Don't forget that the first USAV sanctioned
tournament is December 5th so these Friendship tournaments are a great way
to get your team prepared for that first USAV competition.

I will be sending out Friendship Tourney final pool info Wednesday
afternoon, so REGISTRATION WILL END WEDNESDAY, NOV 18TH AT NOON!!!

2009-2010 FRIENDSHIP TOURNAMENTS

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21ST—Men’s 6s & Women’s 6s Tournaments
(captains’ meeting at 8:45 AM) ($100/team)

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22ND—Coed 6s Tournament (captains’ meeting at 8:45 AM)
($75/team)

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 28TH—Men’s 6s & Women’s 6s Tournaments
(captains’ meeting at 8:45 AM) ($75/team)—PRICE NOW LOWERED!!!

Friendship Tournaments are NOT USAV sanctioned events; therefore,
participants need not be USAV members.  Many teams use these as
opportunities to practice for USAV competition, which begins in December,
or as a means of “testing out” new or potential players.

Matching uniforms are not required but each player needs some type of
number on their jersey for bookkeeping purposes.  Format is pool play then
single-elimination tournament.

FOR COED, teams are required to have 2 women on the court at all times.
There are no rules regarding contacts (male/female).

Wilmington. I have played in high school and at the junior olympic level. I can
