Shoooot, I thought I would ignite the fuse and revive komcycling ;o))
In fact those pros have broken my toy.
Of course, in the 80's i knew that they were not running on O.J., but
until the advent of EPO, they still looked human.
I have become more and more disenchanted seeing that after the 1998
TdF they have not been able to reform.
Now I barely watch any stages of the TdF and then mostly to see the
countryside. Why would I want to see robots or guinea-pigs riding up
mountains at unnatural speeds?
But, as you say, there is far more to cycling.
I am still interested in cycling and particularly riding in the
mountains, as long as I can do it.
As soon as I hear of a new mass cycling event, I get interested.
Right now, i am wandering whether I could go to Martinique on Nov 11
for "La belle Martinique", 172 km, 2400m uphill cumulated.
