Frank,
I enjoyed meeting face-to-face at the end of Aug while visiting Fred in
Asheville. Was hoping to see you at the end of the Hilly Hellacious--any
stories to tell?
Hey, I'd do the camping bit with you, but can't see heading down there again
this soon. Maybe next year.
Cheers...........Nate

Thanks Darren. Maybe torpidity has already set in for the
approaching winter.
I had a fabulous weekend in Boone NC camping and climbing. We did
both Beech Mtn and Snake Mtn. Both climbs are very nice. We also
did another nice twisting climb on NC 194 towards Banner Elk. I want
to go back and do the other climbs in the area.
What else? I've been watching some old Tour tapes. I'm still
convinced that my favorite Lance stage is the Sestriere mtn top
finish in 1999.
Anyone on this list like camping and biking in the southern
Appalachian mtns of the US? I can't seem to find weekend campers
amongst the roadie crowd. Both Boone and Cashiers, North Carolina
are climber's delights here!
