>Only unlit tunnels that I saw was on D219 (BdO - Villa Notre Dame). These
>tunnels were not only unlit but also wet ! (raining inside...)
So you rode up to Villard-Notre-Dame? Nasty tunnels eh? They were dripping quite
a lot when I went through there too. In some places it was like running under a
donw spout in a rain storm. When I did that ride I stopped and turned off my
light in the middle of one of the longer tunnels, one of them with multiple
turns. It was absolute blackness.
>Only bad pavement I saw was the D25a / east side of Col Sarenne. Was covered
>full with stones.
You mean there were a good amount of stones strewn on the paved surface or you
mean it was literally a gravel road? When I went through in 2000 it was a bit
rough towards to top and on that high relatively level road between l'Alpe
d'Huez and Col de Sarenne but it was paved at least.
>And of course the D219, but with lights.
Oh yeah. Unless you want to feel your way along the walls in the darkness.
