Description

KENPO
Is pure intelligence of thought and motion. Mr. Kilgore has added concepts, theories, principles and innovations, not yet employed by other systems. This is what makes his KENPO system unique, practical, logical, realistic, and applicable. It has often been referred to as the "The old family of kenpo, in how it was taught". It employs linear as well as circular moves, utilizing intermittent power when and where needed, interspersed with minor and major moves that flow with continuity. It is flexible in thought and action allowing one to blend with confrontations when encountered.

ARNIS
There are basically no differences between Arnis or Escrima, also known as Eskrima. The martial arts community uses the different names to refer to the same type of arts. Originally, the difference in the name implied the region from which the art originated or the material unique to that family. These three names, and others, refer to Filipino martial arts where skills in both empty hand and weapons are developed using similar training methods to teach both. “True” practitioners of these arts are noted for their ability to fight with weapons or empty hands interchangeably.

GOSHINJITSU
Goshinjitsu illustrating more modern ideas was created by means of teaching survival and aggressive practical self-defense. Due to the practical requirements of developing what essentially is seen in a conflict or "modern day" attack, some parameters were set when the system was evolved. Among these were; the techniques must be done naturally, there must be no contrived actions, there must be no falsely formulated responses and there must be no dramatics or choreography. Additionally, everything should be done with a natural, true-to-life rhythm.

KARATE
Karate traces its roots to the islands of Okinawa, which now form part of Japan. An indigenous fighting system know as Okinawa-te (Okinawa hand) would eventually become karate (Chinese hand) and, finally, karate-do
