David,
Tim's advice on getting used gear is a sound one. We will be
having our Kite Swap meet this coming May and that will be a good
place to start your shopping. I will be selling my two kites there as
well as a full package so do stop by and brouse around.
As for lessons....Pls. visit my website to get into on lessons
though I have to say that my lessons are NOT zero to hero...I have
the course outline on my website. I still advice going out of Chicago
or Midwest for aht matter to get good lessons....when I say good
lessons I mean lessons where the conditios are good. There a re lots
of qualified teacher that can tache you even within this forum but
having good teaching conditions is another story.
Cheers,
Gerard
