Re: Note to King of the Air - Great Lakes

It's not based here because no shop or organization wants to sponsor
it. Mac Kite in Grand Haven has a booming kite business and wants to
continue to promote kiteboarding in SW Michigan.

Perhaps you could ask Best, kitesonline.com or where ever you buy
your kite to host an event here?

Mike

Great Lakes organizers, "Why don't you base this competition in
Chicago??" We have airline connections from everywhere in a major
media center with a huge beach that works on most wind directions in
the Fall.

nearby Miller on a Big West wind or to Tiscornia on a big SW wind.

competition. By holding it in Chicago you gain major media exposure
and have nearby options for any wind direction.
