Jonathan;
Perhaps he does mean "mold". When I was stationed in Fairfield, CA (just west of
Sacramento), I too experienced respiratory problems due to the pollen in the air
(no prior allergy problems). Just never heard of 'hip problems' caused by mold
(but stranger things have happened).
I was thinking that since they are 'near' the mountains they may get a few
'cool/cold' days (by CA standards). But since the fall/winter is also the
'greening' season (every thing seems to turn yellow or brown during the summer;
little rain) maybe the 'mold' is especially bad. Guess we will have to wait for
clarification.

allergy capital of the world. I can tell you first hand that I never suffered
from any allergies until I moved out west to Sacramento. However the American
River Bike Trail is truly world class anf for 3 years I was a daily visitor. As
far as your questions about mastery Larry I can say this much,The fun and beauty
of trikking is that there seems to be an infintesimal amount of subtle movements
that one can make to propel the trikke forward.Everytime I ride even the same
stretch of bike trail pavement, I learn something new . It might be a subtle
shift in the knees or the feet , the shifting of weight whatever! Sometimes I
feel like I'm surfing or snowboarding or inline skating. Thats what makes the
trikke so special. I used to hate hills now I see it as an opportunity to
practice mindfullness . I think if the Buddha was alive today he would probably
ride a trikke . Seriously I would guess

compensate for your physical limitations. Lastly I ride T*8cv air so I don't
know how fast a T12 goes but anyway whats the hurry , it's the journey that
counts.

and knee replacement and she doesn't even have a limp anymore. It just amazes
me! We got six inches of snow here since noon so I probably won't be trikking
any time soon!
