I collected insurance...big deal.  Sue and I were packed and all set to go to Provence, France the next day for a two week bicycling vacation.  You can drive without insurance in VA, BTW.  You pay an uninsured motorist fee and away you go.

Bicyclists do not have insurance when they ride. There is none available for him. If he has car insurance, it will not cover him on a bicycle. I learned...
