Hi KORS members and friends,
Sorry, I have not been keeping in touch but I have been busy fulfilling obligations with my last year's road club. Just so You know, I was the Race Director for the Tulsa Wheelmen 2002. But now I am done with that and I am ready to help get our club bigger and stronger. instead of 501(c)(3) we now have a 501(c)(4) which means our sponsors don't get to take their donations off from their taxes. A big plus for us if we could have gotten that. So we are moving on. My biggest concern is jerseys and I have a few ideals about that.
1. We could reschedule the Keystone race. if there are any open dates!!! any suggestions????
2. Start a short track series on Wednesdays at Keystone for points /awards. Races would only be $5 a race with 3 categories A,B,C, One race every first Wednesday for the months of May, June, July, Final awards could be given at our race in August.
3. Keep looking for sponsors.
Let me know what you think or if you can help me out with any of these projects.
THE VAN IS READY. If you are wanting a ride to one of the tour de dirt races please email me we are getting a group together for the OKC race next. I will have the van at the Tulsa race and set up the tent and banner so you can find us. Come over and visit with me and get some refreshments
Last item!!! Charles duke is coming to town for a trail day April 4-6 Please spread the word. This will be a light trail day. I will have more on this later.... Please email if you can make it. I will need a trail leader....
