If get an opportunity, check out page 3A of today's paper, where Coburn and McCain criticize spending money on bike paths.  Coburn said Congress has wasted billions of dollars on low-priority projects like bike baths while bridges are in disrepair..  Then McCain added Congres is frivolously spending the Highway Trust Fund for pet projects like walkways and bicycle paths at the expense of our nation's roads and bridges.    Then Inhofe adds later he agrees with the argument that the Highway Trust Fund is ont the appropriate source of funds for several types of projects and activities currently elgible yet that is a discussion for the reauthorization bill. 

 

I doubt if those three ever ride a bicycle at all.
