Osage Hills Mountain Bike Race
Part of the Tour De Dirt Series State Championships
Sunday, November 9, 2008


This is the third year that Osage Hills State Park Mountain Bike Trails will be
part of the Tour De Dirt State Championship series. The trail was reopened in
2005 and has been maintained by KORS and the Bartlesville Peddlers .Race held
under USA Cycling Permit # 2008-2330

Direction: Osage Hills Mountain bike trails are located 8 miles West of
Bartlesville, Oklahoma. On highway 60. Between Bartlesville and Pawhuska,
Oklahoma
From Tulsa: Go North on Hwy 75 Turn Right on Frank Phillps blvd. continue
straight though down town this road will turn in to highway 60. Go 8 miles west
of Bartlesville to the entrance of the Osage Hills State Park. Turn left into
the park and follow the event signs to event parking. Please do not park on
road side or block traffic.
From OKC: Take 44 East. Exit Hwy 75. To Bartlesville and then Follow hwy 60 to
Osage Hills State Park.

Course: The Osage Hills trail is a tough single track course. Fast turns and a
lot of rocks and miles of climbing each lap. This course will be a repeating 6
mile loop. The course will be marked for pre-riding Saturday November 8th. This
can be a dangerous trail so be safe and ride it before race day!

Registration Information: Registration begins at 8:00 am and will close 15
minutes prior to start time. NORBA license required, One day licenses are
available for $5.

Award ceremony will be held after each race and after every result has been
confirmed.
For example: Experts 11:30am/ Sport - 1:30 / Beginners 2:30pm. You must stay to
any receive awards.

Start times: 8:00 AM Registration is open. The fee is $25 for all classes except
Juniors $15. All riders must also have a TDD Card.
9:30 am Race Start for: Experts - all classes / Unique Awards top 3/ plus 100%
cash payout
11:00am Race start for: Sport - all classes / Single Speed / Unique Awards top 3
1:00 pm Race start for: Beginners - all classes / Unique awards top 3
Osage Hills State Park information: Cabins are already booked. Camping is
First-come First-service only! So get there early.

Special Note: Categories with less then 3 racers could be canceled. Please
attend the award ceremony for the sponsors and supporting club involved Please
don’t expect to have those awards mailed to you. Thanks
