Another fun evening of racing again tonight. At least it was fun for some. We started of with the C's and had tem race for 30 min. To make it a little more fun and interesting, we gave the women ( Christa and Traci) a 1/2 lap head start in a "Hare & Hound" type and let the Hound's (other C's) try and catch them. Well the girls worked together well and was able to hold the Hounds off
results of the C's race:

Due to the early sunset we combined the A's and B's and had another handicap start. There were 3 riders who had moved up over the summer from the C's to the B's so we gave them  (Todd Reed, Ben Grabow, and Peter Sandretto) a 1/2 lap head start. Then we started the rest on the group, but the A's had to run and get their bikes which were laying in the grass, mount up and chase down the rest who had started from the start line as usual. After 50 minutes of chasing and racing we scored them by class.  This was the overall finish.

Remember that next week will be the last week of the summer crit series. Bring your bikes as we will have some short races and then have a cook-out with burgers , dogs, brats and what ever else Tim can figure out. Will have drinks also and the whole thing is FREE and the racing will be FREE also. This is an appreciation night for all you who raced and supported the series this summer so bring your family and friends and have a good time.
See you then,
Jack
