Jack, can you please FWD the following to everyone that you typically send results to? Thanks.
Kary/Jeremy, could either of you include the following on our website? Thanks.

After looking at the logistics for the sprint tournament planned for tomorrow night, there are a few tweaks required so that we can have a fun night of racing before the sun sets...
- Instead of 1-on-1 Match sprints, the format has changed to a 4-up sprint tournament with 5 rounds of sprints. The tournament will still be double elimination, so everyone will get to race at least 2 times. To win the tournament you will have to race 4 times and no one should have to race more than 5 times.
- The first round of racing will consist of 8 races with everyone that wishes to participate. If 32 people (or less) want to race, we will have groups of 4, up to 40 we will have groups of 5, and up to 48 we will have groups of 6. I do not think we will have to turn anyone away, so if you have any interest in riding your bike tomorrow night, please sign up.
- WOMEN'S RACES!!! In order to give the boys a break before the finals, we can have Women's only sprint races starting between 7:00 & 7:10pm. The women's race will be ran like the men, except with two 1st round races followed by a second round for the finals. Keep in mind that even if only two women show up, we can still have a 1-on-1 match sprint, but if eight women show up, we can have 4-up sprints. Please register onsite by 6:30pm, or send me an email in advance. But remember, no boys allowed. :)
- Please be ready for a pre-race meeting at 6:20 so that we can start racing by 6:30. If you know you are going to be there, please send me an email at me@... by 5pm on Thursday and I will put you on the start list. This way you will not have to register/check in by 6pm, but be ready to race at 6:20.
- Remember that this race is FREE!!! No entry fees!!!!
- In order to seed everyone in the tournament, we are going to use the total points accumulated throughout the year during the Thursday night crits. The top A riders will be seeded first, followed by the top B riders, etc. This should (hopefully) make sure that the top 4 sprinters do not race each other until the exciting final race of the night. After looking at some potential brackets, we should see some exciting semi-final races too.
Thanks for racing this year, and I hope to see everyone at the race Thursday night. :)
