I'm getting pretty dang annoyed buy my juan or two detractors who take me to task for "knot saying anything" and otherwise trying to make me look/sound sillier that I awlready am in the eyes/ears of my fans.............knot cooking this weekend, too hot in the kitchen, too much for any fan!

Of local interest: Saturday I rode with P Tay (LCI 007) for maybe a 1/4 mi going east on 97 from SS and had a nice visit, he wuz huffing/puffing pulling his trailer and let me do most of the talking

More local interest: After I "dropped" Paul and got headed back out to Keystone, I "ran" into some TBC'ers on 51 who were doing a "social/fun" apres Avery Drive Clean Up Morning ride

Felt Bicycles Announce Recall to Repair Faulty Brakes

JULY 12, 2006 -- WASHINGTON, D.C. (BRAIN)—The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Felt Bicycles of Lake Forest, California, announced a voluntary recall of about 700 Felt mountain bikes. The steel brake boss on these bikes can detach from the frame, causing the rider to lose control and fall.

Felt Bicycles has received three reports of the brake boss coming loose, but no injuries have been reported.

All model year 2005 and 2006 Kinesis-made RXC bikes are included in the recall. They were sold at bicycle stores around the country between October 2004 and April 2006, for between $1,050 and $5,000.

Consumers have been instructed to stop using recalled products immediately and to contact Felt retailers to receive a free inspection and repair.

For more information, call (866) 433-5887 or visit Feltracing.com.
