With the Dartford Festival (which attracts 40,000 people) across the
road and also Dartford Football club playing the night before, the
Kent Ravens are looking to break their crowd record attendance when
they face the Eastern Raiders on the 19th July.

This year Chas and Dave, and Jason Donovan are starring at the
Dartford Festival on the weekend of the 19th and 20th July. However
on the 19th July all the attention of the Kent Ravens will be
focussed on the task ahead at Princes Park Stadium. The aim for the
Ravens is to get a good result and cement their place in the play
offs which take place in August.

Also this week there was some good news for the Kent Ravens when the
South of England squad to play the West Midlands on the 27th July
2008 was announced.
Three Ravens players have been called up to represent the South of
England, and this is just reward for the players' superb form and
hard work throughout the season so far. The players called up are
Ravens captain Aiden Oakley, Manbir Mann and Nick McPherson.

However before the 27th July, these players and the rest of the
Ravens squad have other things on their mind, namely beating the
Raiders on the 19th July and getting into the play offs.

The match on Saturday 19th July kicks off at 2.30pm, and it is £5
entry for adults and only £1 entry for children.
