Join the Ravenettes and cheer on the Ravens!!!
With the Kent Ravens Rugby League Club's new season fast
approaching, the Ravens' cheerleaders are busy preparing for the
major part that they play in cheering the Ravens on!
The Ravenettes are a cheer dance group, which means that there is a
mixture of cheerleading and street dance involved.
Natalie Taylor, the head of the Ravenettes, explains, `The Junior
Ravenettes are learning the skills and working towards performing at
the stadium as well as in shows, it's all about learning new skills,
being active and having fun!'
The Junior Ravenettes (aged 6-17) currently hold classes on
Saturdays at Birkbeck School in Sidcup starting at 11.15am, and also
on Thursdays at Wentworth School in Dartford starting at 4.25pm.
Recently there has been some big news for the Junior Ravenettes and
the Ravenettes in general. This news is that a new session is
starting on Monday 18th February 2008 at Leigh Academy in Dartford
at 5pm. Each session will cost £4.25. This session will be held
every Monday from the 18th February in the brand new state of the
art dance studio at Leigh Academy. As Natalie Taylor, head of the
Ravenettes and Junior Ravenettes coach goes on to explain, `The new
session will be a street dance lesson that will help the cheerleader
to become a better dancer.'
Therefore if you want to have fun, learn new skills and meet new
people then why not join the Ravenettes?!!
