Sorry we haven't been in touch for so long. We've been having an extension put
on the house and the computer room was out of action for quite a few weeks so
couldn't access e-mails.
Hope all is well with the 3 of you.
Sorry, Alan, but I haven' got backto you about your request to arrange end of
season do. To be honest, because we've been so busy on the house, I haven't
been able to give it any thought. I'm afraid I'm going to have to pass on this
as I just can't commit to it right now.
Together with the work on the house (I am doing all the internal finishing), we
also have the CRY screening to arrange for August which we have just realised is
going to take a lot of our time.
Hope this is OK and, again, sorry I've taken so long to reply to you.
While I think of it, CRY contacted Julie the other day to say that you had asked
them for a representative to attend your opening at Prince's Park on 3rd August
to receive a novelty cheque - is this still going ahead? We just need to
confirm to CRY if it is.
On another note, we have the CRY screening on Sunday, August 19th which we would
like to extend an invitation to any players at Kent Ravens between the ages of
14-35. It is going to be held at Metrogas Sports Club in Avery Hill we need to
start booking appointmnts fairly soon. Do you want me to send you some flyers
that you can distribute and then people can get in touch with us if they want to
be screened. It's a free screening but, obviously, we don't want people asking
for appts if they then don't turn up because we actually are funding each
individual at a cost of £35 per head.
It's a quick, 15 minute test and would encourage all young players to be
screened - especially those playing sports.
Let me know if you are interested.
Hope to see you soon,
Jed
