Ravens suffer Shark Bite.
The match started off as a even battle that no-one expected, with after 15 minutes of play and a stunning try by Prop Paul Hyder the Kent Side were down by 10 points to 4 but holding their own against the finalists of 2006, even so much so that twice the Ravens tried to use the speed of full back Stuart Leppard by kicking on the first tackle but both came to no avail. From this moment the game swung in the Sharks favour as scrum half Mark Barnes controlled his side as the off loads and tackles broken mounted up only massive covering tackles from Daniel Smart and Leppard kept the score to 26-4 at half time. Things did not change in the second half as the West London Side came out in a determined mood and made their experience count as Danny Lam cut through the ravens right hand side many times, even though on a territory basis the Ravens were matching the Sharks (playing around 40% of the match in the sharks half) the Kentish side could only manage to cross the Sharks line once more through an angled run from Daniel Smart, Michael Muir added the extra points.
For the third time this season the Reserve came up against London league favourites Hainault Bulldogs and again they were on the wrong end of a heavy defeat which was not helped by having to play the majority of the match with only 12 men due to injuried. Highlights came from the tries of Powerhouse Nick Thomas and Richard Williams who also added both conversions.
