Ravens give 2006 finalists a scare
The Kent Ravens progression in the Conference Premier continued on Saturday against the 2006 southern finalists West London Sharks who boasted another strong line up, of the back of great performances from consistent Prop forwards Paul Hyder and Ravens man of the match Ricky McKinley the Kent side were able to match the Sharks frequently. The first try came from a solo effort in the middle of the pitch from returning winger Constantine Hatzidakis who broken through a number of tackles to score under the posts while the second try was from a high kick from stand off Michael Muir, The score line was flattering to the London Side as Ravens’ own fitness seemed to be the deciding factor in the second half and the Ravens let in some soft try and squandered a couple of chances to score at the other end.
