Junior Ravens fight back

The Junior Ravens under 14s finally found form in the Second half of the London Junior League match away to Greenwich on Saturday, with the score reading 22-0 to Greenwich at half time and inspiring speech from head coach Head Don Baker sent the Ravens out onto the field. It was debutant Brett Scott who court the eye first of all setting the Ravens in the right the positions to score while fellow debutant and centre Ollie Newton scored the try of the match running the full length of field to score, though man of the match went to the youngest player on the pitch Charlie Whittaker for his out of standing performance and control of eh match from the Hooker position but the Ravens could not come fully back from the poor first have as Greenwich won 26-20, while the Ravens continue training on Thursday nights as they look to battle away from the wrong end of the table.

On a lighter note the Kent Ravens have started selling both Match day and season tickets for their biggest moment in the spotlight, when they play London Skolars as the 4,100 capacity Princes park Stadium on Friday 3rd August at 7:30pm, which Sky’s own Soccer AM program commented on as “the best new stadium in the country in front of Wembley”. At only £5 per ticket for adults and ‘kids for a quid’ what are you waiting for visit www.kentravens.co.uk to purchase your tickets and a chance to see what all the fuse is about

If you’re interested in joining the Kent Ravens please get in contact by emailing alan@... calling 07707 852 952 or by seeing our web site at www.kentravens.co.uk otherwise you can just turn up at training at 7:30pm on Wednesday for seniors and the Junior Ravens (ages 7 to 16) train on Thursdays at 7:00pm.
