Lightning doesn’t strike the Junior Ravens
Addington Lightning U12 4 vs. 46 Kent Ravens U12
The Junior Ravens Under 12 produced a stunning victory in the postponed away fixture against Addington lightning, kick starting their season and pushing their way up the London Junior league by scoring 46 points while Addington got a consolation try to produce a final score of 4-46 to the Ravens, the Ravens dominated the first half with a 32-0 score line at half time, though a hat trick of tries from Luke Edwards and Lawrence Chittil helped the U12 to record the win as Joseph Hickey added the conversions.
This Wednesday will also see the start of the Ravens’ successful Women’s squad start their 2007 season, as Head Coach Kenny bell brings his team together for their first training session at Acacia Hall on Dartford High Street, The club has received many enquiries about the women’s squad and with all the returning players from 2006, the 2007 season should be another successful London League season for the ravens who have the added advantage of being the only women’s league team in the south-east.
